AMS-7 Heat-Activated Permanent Mounting Tissue
White / Off-White Color -- Colormount, Techmount 2, Trimount
AMS-7 tissue is translucent white to off-white, porous, acid-free and breathable. It is coated on both sides with heat-sensitive adhesive. AMS-7 is finely mottled with an even consistency that leaves mounted prints free of streaks, discoloration, wrinkles and ridges. It becomes completely saturated and non-porous after application; yet, it becomes porous again when heat is applies a second time to allow air and moisture to pass through during lamination. This tissue creates a permanent bond.
AMS-7 is suited for: Standard Papers, RC Photographs, Fiber-based Photographs, Textured Papers, Lithograph Papers, Watercolor Papers, Clay-coated Papers, Newspapers, Cotton Fabrics, Rice Papers, Brass Rubbings, Parchment, Silk, Polyester Fabric, Wooden Substrates, MDF Board, Ink Jet Papers (coated and uncoated), Foamboard, and Gatorboard.

AMS-X Heat-Activated Giclee Mounting Permanent Adhesive
Giclee Mount
AMS-X is designed to mount canvas Giclee to non-porous boards, thus eliminating the need to stretch canvas over stretcher bars. AMS-X Giclee Mounting Adhesive is acid-free, has a neutral pH and creates a barrier between the board and canvas, protecting the Giclee from acid or other contaminants. This ensures that the Giclee will not degrade over time. Similar products use acid-free papers, however paper is porous and contaminants can still enter the canvas and eventually degrade the print.
AMS-X is suited for: Ryno I, Gatorboard, Foamboard, Sintra, Coroplast, MDF Board, Masonite, Acrylic Sheets, and more. This mounting adhesive also works well with Inkjet Canvas Giclees, Watercolor Papers, and Card Stock.
