Art Materials Service, Inc. (AMS) was founded in 1976 to provide reliable generic hardware to the aluminum picture framing industry. By 1985, AMS became the world’s largest manufacturer of metal hardware to this industry with a reputation for high quality and fair prices. Our continually expanding primary product line consists of metal hardware to assemble, hang, and secure aluminum, wood and plastic picture frames. Other items in our line include self-locking protective corrugated corners, mounting materials, laminating films, wire, easel backs, and a growing selection of hand- and air-operated machines used for the installation of AMS parts.

Most prices are quoted as “cost per thousand” (or “M”) parts.
In order to avoid problems with the decimal, remember that $10.00/M parts = $0.01/each part.

Please Note:
$150.00 minimum order requirement for domestic shipments.
For orders less than $150.00 but greater than $100.00 there will be a $35.00 handling fee.
$300.00 minimum order for exports.

Terms and Conditions of Sale
From day of shipment – Net 30 days – Upon approval by the AMS Credit Department. FOB Art Materials Service, Inc., warehouse. Not responsible for goods damaged in transit. All claims must be made within 5 days after receipt of goods. All prices are subject to change without notice. A 2% service charge per month on all balances over 30 days. Any costs sustained by Art Materials Service, Inc. in collecting delinquent accounts will become part of the total amount owed to Art Materials Service, Inc. Our liability shall be limited solely to the replacement or repair of defective material not meeting our specifications. Returns are only accepted when issued a return authorization number and packing slip.

Special Packaging
Most bulk items in our catalog can be bagged or boxed in a form to make their handling and usage easier for our customers. AMS can also produce custom packs of hardware. For example: 2 wire hangers, 2 screws, and a 24” coil of wire in a private labeled package. For an individual quote please contact our Customer Service Department.
